  Your favourite spots now appear in CarPlay. Check live scores, view spot details, navigate to spots or parking, and report surface conditions without picking up your phone.
• Offline caching New
  Scores and recent sessions are cached locally so CarPlay works even when you lose signal. Queued reports sync automatically when you reconnect.
• Navigation app choice New
  Choose between Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze when navigating to a spot or its parking location from CarPlay.
• Smarter session planning Improved
  Planning a session from the Dashboard now auto-selects the spot you're viewing as the first location.
• Scoring engine alignment Improved
  Widgets and CarPlay now use the same physics-based scoring engine as the app. The server-side engine and Swift offline fallback both share the same rain recovery curves, condensation modelling, freeze detection, and drainage calculations. Previously, widgets used a simpler model and could show different scores.
• News and alerts New
  Stay in the loop with news, spot openings, closures, and app updates from the bell icon on the Dashboard. Submit tips for the community - submissions are reviewed before publishing. Posts can include links that open in-app.
• Regional news New
  News posts are now region-aware. You only see posts relevant to your area plus global updates like app changes. Toggle to view all regions in the news modal, or change your region in Settings.
• Session note moderation New
  Notes added to sessions are now reviewed before being visible to other users. Your own pending notes show a "pending review" label so you know they have been submitted.
• Spot ratings New
  Rate spots 1-5 stars and optionally track session duration. Community ratings use a trust-weighted algorithm so consistent, aligned skaters have more influence on the score. Stars are always visible so you can tap to rate from any screen.
• Puddle potential New
  A puddle warning appears on the Dashboard when it rained in the last 10 hours, even if the score has recovered. Planned session cards show a badge and pre-session notifications tell you to bring a squeegee.
• Session share cards New
  Share your sessions to Instagram, TikTok, or any platform. Choose a transparent sticker overlay for stories and reels, or a full card with your own background photo. Includes spot name, rating, weather, conditions, and duration. The share preview opens automatically after logging a session.

  Weather requests are now throttled and routed through a caching proxy, preventing rate limiting when you have many saved spots. Scores load reliably even during peak usage.
